Reworking a dressy piece into a daytime frock is a great way to get a little more mileage out of something that you may have only worn a handful of times. One way to repurpose a dress is the simple addition of a tank top. I went for a forest green tank with a higher neckline to contrast the white dress and added chunky metal statement necklaces for some edge.
Usually this dress would be paired with sky-high heels for a night-out situation. Instead, I’ve paired the dress with strappy wedge sandals to keep the look more casual (but still allow for some added height with the short hemline). Even if you want to stick to wearing a dress at night, adding a tank or tee under a garment can completely transform your look. And what’s better than two outfits for the price of one?!
