Crop tops are a perfect match for the midi skirt. Hitting somewhere around the knee, the midi skirt can quickly become overpowering when paired with a heavy volume shirt. This is why a small crop top works so well! As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I like to keep the waistline of the bottoms I’m wearing above the naval, showing just a sliver of skin.
This semi-tribal look is perfect for a summer adventure, one that most likely involves some walking. So, if you must wear flats with this long hemline, nude flats are a go-to choice to help elongate the calf. (It doesn’t hurt if the flats pack in some surprise sparkle in the back either!)
