We’ve seen this simple shift dress ready for the office and ready for the weekend; today, it’s ready for a summer date night. An outdoor dinner and drinks possibly?
Adding a denim shirt, wedges, and a larger tote keeps the shift dress from looking overly dressy for a casual summer date. Throwing the hair into a pony keeps with the relaxed, easy feel of the look. There’s nothing better than being comfortable on a date, when you’re not worrying about an outfit that’s too tight or heels that are too high. And speaking of heels, wedges really are the secret savior of dressed-up footwear, are they not? They almost feel like flats! I’m not lying, I swear.

In my next post, this dress will be getting a little bit fancy for the final one dress, four ways look.
