We still have a couple more weeks of summer and I plan to soak up every last drop. There is plenty of time for fall fashion, which, don’t get me wrong, I love. What’s better than admiring leather riding boots in the 700 page September issue of InStyle while sitting poolside? 
Rather than buying a coverup specifically for the beach or pool this summer, I’ve been wearing simple, casual separates over my swimsuit. A button down and denim cutoffs are an easy, stylish coverup option that’s foolproof.
One positive thing about my favorite season ending are summer sales, specifically swimwear sales. I grabbed this beautiful Gottex one piece at South Moon Under for a third of the original price. Bonus: it doubles as a (very small) tank with the cutoffs!
I love the detail on the suit. Perfect with cutoffs, a roomy beach tote, Wayferers, and comfy flip-flops. If you’re in an area that’s about to get a little more “fall” temperature-wise, I hope you enjoy the last pool days of summer. Soak it in!
